The You Can Teach the Bible Project aims to help in the development of local lay leadership. Among the many barriers to lay leader development is a persistent fear of being told that you are wrong. There always seems to be someone who can point to some external expert who said it differently than you did.
Take heart. In this project's name, the emphasis is on the word can. Through materials and group-based support, You Can Teach the Bible will help develop small group leaders and Sunday School teachers who can walk beside other learners as they journey through the Bible together. We are actively looking for additional churches to use this model.
